New Parent/Teacher Orientation

If you want to learn more about the program, you think your child would be interested in a team-oriented activity, or you are a teacher new to Odyssey of the Mind:

Join us for a one-hour information session on Odyssey of the Mind!

 

Why?

* Students work in teams of up to seven members under the guidance of an adult coach.

* Teams spend several months, at their own pace, creating their unique solution to a selected long-term problem. This includes Style enhancements.

* Team members come up with all the ideas for their solution and do all the work themselves.

* Teams have 8 minutes to present their long-term solution at competition in the form of a skit.

 

Planned orientation sessions for 2024-25:

  • Thursday, Sep 12th, 2024 - 7:30 pm

  • Saturday, Sep 21st, 2024 – 4:00 pm

  • Tuesday, Oct 1st, 2024 - 7:30 PM (late starters)
