Hotels for the Texas State Competition
Where to stay?

These are hotels that we have arranged for the State Competition on March 29th, 2025 at San Jacinto College, South Campus, Houston.
Teams, their families and Officials are welcome to use these rooms at the contract group rates, show below (plus applicable tax). Rooms are available on first-come, first-served basis. Teams are responsible to RESERVE with a credit card hold and PAY for the rooms. The group rates are only available if you book before the cut-off and rooms are still available at that rate. Hotels generally honor the group rate even after the deadline, if they have availability.
Teams also have the option to choose any other hotel of their liking.
The following hotels have room blocks for Odyssey of the Mind from 3/28/25 to 3/30/25. You can reserve for both nights or either night.
Hotels #2 and #3 below are blocked for OFFICIAL and JUDGE reservations ONLY for 3 days. Any unused rooms will be released to teams on 3/3/25.

Does not offer breakfast but all rooms are equipped with kitchens. Hotel shares parking lot with Wal-mart and other stores, easy access to shopping and some dining options.
