This list outlines the dress code at World Finals for TEAM TEXAS for 2025.
All friends and family attending World Finals are invited to purchase shirts as part of the Texas delegation at World Finals. It helps support our program.
Wednesday - The STATE shirt
TEX, Our Armadillo Mascot
The 2025 State Finalists T-shirt is a beautiful red shirt with TEX riding a bull with a duct tape roll as a lasso. Will he last 8 seconds or 8 minutes? It represents what became the most popular Texas pins this year: Introducing Tex and the 40th Anniversary pin which represents TEX and OMER together for the ruby anniversary (40th) of Texas Odyssey. The back of the shirt says “State Finalists TXOM 2025”.
This is the t-shirt of the State Odyssey of the Mind Tournament in March. As you see from the size selection, coaches, family and friends are all welcome to cheer their team! You can wear it around town/campus and for team pictures.
It is worn all day WEDNESDAY as well as at the Opening Ceremonies at World Finals evening. It must be worn by anyone who walks in the the “Parade of Nations”, as well as any team and family members who own one, in the Texas delegation area.
Thursday - The REGION shirt
Blooming With Creativity
The 2025 Region shirt features the Texas wildflowers, matching the bluebonnet pin set of three scoring componenets: Long-Term, Style & Spontaneous. On the back are listed all the 2025 problems.
This is the t-shirt of the Regional Odyssey of the Mind Tournaments (Central Region, North Region, Houston Area Region). As you see from the size selection, coach, family and friends are all welcome to cheer their team! You can wear it around town/campus and for team pictures.
It is also worn by team and family members all day on THURSDAY as well as the Float & Banner Parade event. It must be worn by anyone who walks in the “Float & Banner Parade”
Friday is a free dress day at WF.
You can wear any souvenir shirts that you purchase from Odyssey of the Mind in Michigan! But if you plan to take team portrait that day, you should carry a TX team shirt (or go in costume).

This t-shirt was provided at the Texas State Tournament Awards Ceremony to all advancing team members and one coach per team, at no cost.
It is worn by all Texans on SATURDAY and especially at World Finals Awards Ceremonies on SATURDAY evening. Please do NOT wear this t-shirt OR the Cowboy Hat anywhere, any day before Saturday. Team members are invited to decorate their cowboy hat as they please and they are NOT allowed to trade them until after the Awards Ceremony.
